Mammootty – Chairman

A legendary actor of the Indian film industry, Mammootty has won several accolades and awards including the most coveted National Award in 1989, 1993 & 1998. He has acted in films in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil & Telugu and has also received the Padmashri award in 1998 for his contribution to the field of arts.

Besides his illustrious filmography, Mammootty has been actively engaged in various philanthropic activities such as the Pain & Palliative Care Society, Own Your Water – a project that aims to promote awareness for protecting water bodies and providing water to the needy; amongst others. Being tech savvy, he is also the Goodwill ambassador of Akshaya; an e-literacy project.

V K Ashraf - Director

A well-known and prominent industrialist based in UAE, VK Ashraf is a powerhouse industrialist with businesses spanning Oil exploration, Health Care and Hospitality. He also serves on the board of numerous leading business ventures in UAE.

An active philanthropist and with the objective of giving back to the society, VK Ashraf involves himself with various charitable activities; one of which is a special school for kids affected by Autism (Down’s Syndrome).

Nearly 60 years after Autism was first identified, the number of cases continued to rise. A United Nations study undertaken in 2010 estimates that nearly 70 million people across the globe are impacted by the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Stephen Scherer, Director of the Centre for Applied Genomics at Toronto Hospital who completed the largest ever Genome study uses an apt analogy; "each child with autism is like a snow flake unique from the other ". The philosophy followed by VKM Special school is precisely the same, and children here are taken care of in line with their individual developmental needs. VKM Special School has undertaken over 200 surgeries in the last few years, entirely free of cost and have administered medical management to over 500 kids.

An astute business professional, Shibu Mathew has been a part of various leading enterprises in India, including BPL, AIRTEL, Reliance & Tata and possesses a commendable performance record in delivering results and leading teams.

In his last corporate assignment, he was part of the Leadership Team at Tata Communications (Telecom arm of the 100 billion Tata Group), heading a business division that contributed over 165 Million USD (1100 Crores INR) per annum to the Group.

Abraham has successfully managed business cycles of Start- Up to Scale - Up. At Adfinity he is a mentor to the team and an advisor to the board. He is a postgraduate in English Language and Literature with a Business Management degree.
